Este álbum de 1969 consolidó la carrera del músico peruano Mita, maestro del tres cubano, e incluye las memorables composiciones propias: 'Mita descarga', la increíblemente rápida 'Descarga en botella y güiro' y la íntima 'No aguanto más', así como versiones de guarachas cubanas y éxitos de los repertorios de artistas puertorriqueños como Joe Cuba, Ismael Rivera y Cortijo y su Combo.

Nunca volvió a publicar otro disco a pesar de que su fama se extendió más allá de su país a finales de los 70, cuando artistas como Celia Cruz, Ismael Miranda y la Sonora Ponceña solicitaron sus servicios en sus giras.

This 1969 album established Peruvian tres player Mita’s career and includes the memorable originals 'Mita descarga', the incredibly fast 'Descarga en botella y güiro' and the intimate 'No aguanto más', as well as versions of Cuban guarachas and hits from the repertoire of Puerto Rican artists like Joe Cuba, Ismael Rivera and Cortijo y su Combo.

Although his fame transcended national borders in the late 1970s, when artists such as Celia Cruz, Ismael Miranda and the Sonora Ponceña requested he played with them on their tours of Lima, he never released another album.
