Las hermanas colombianas Elia y Elizabeth Fleta grabaron un puñado de canciones entre 1972 y 1973, acompañadas por Jimmy Salcedo y su grupo La Onda Tres, mezclando soft-pop con un toque de funk tropical-pastoral, canción de autor endulzada por el sutil perfume musical del Caribe y por psicodelia.

Estos elementos se mezclaron con gracia, rebosantes de frescura, en una combinación idónea entre melodías perfectas con letras inspiradas en una genuina curiosidad juvenil sobre los misterios de la vida, el amor y la naturaleza en sus formas más simples.

Ahora nos alegra presentar los dos discos grabados por las hermanas
Fleta a comienzos de los 70, tal y como fueron publicados originalmente por la discográfica de Colombia Codiscos-Zeida.
Este álbum homónimo muestra una cierta influencia del sonido garage suavizada con las dulces voces de Elia y Elizabeth. Así que no resulta sorprendente que eligieran una canción de Paul Revere and the Raiders, ‘Kicks’, para hacer una versión —no acreditada— en ‘Pesadilla’.

Primera reedición en vinilo de este álbum que incluye el himno sublime de Elia y Elizabeth ‘Soy una nube’. Los audios se han remasterizado y hemos preservado el arte gráfico original.

Colombian sisters Elia and Elizabeth Fleta recorded a handful of songs between 1972 and 1973, acompannied by Jimmy Salcedo and his group La Onda Tres, mixing soft-pop with a touch of tropical-pastoral funk, singer-songwriter sweetened by the subtle perfume of Caribbean music and psychedelia.

These elements blended graciously, brimming with freshness, in a perfect partnership of sharp melodies with lyrics inspired by a genuine juvenile curiosity about life's mysteries, love and nature in their simplest forms.

This album shows a certain garage influence soften by the sweet voices of Elia and Elizabeth. So it is not surprising that the record includes ‘Pesadilla’, an uncredited version of Paul Revere and the Raiders’ ‘Kicks’.

First time vinyl reissue of this album that includes Elia y Elizabeth’s sublime anthem ‘Soy Una Nube’. Audios have been remastered and we have preserved the original artwork of the album.
